Anganwadi is a holistic health and education initiative that provides basic care, nutrition educational programs to rural mothers children. It part of the Indian Government’s Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme, introduced in 1975 today one largest child development initiatives world. The early developmental years children aged 0–6 are spent an or equivalent learning centre influences children’s physical, emotional intellectual development. A not only engages active but also passive from its physical environmental surroundings which manifested architectural design building. collaboration between architecture students three universities India, Australia Malaysia as well office Deputy Director Women Welfare, Udupi District was initiated 2018 for proposed purpose-built Ajjarkad, Karnataka. project executed through student global program known iDiDe (Intercultural dialogue design). This study evaluates seven schemes created with Ajjarkad community input co-design participatory methods based upon sustainable integrated parameters, including space efficiency, resilience, rating scale cultural value. issue “fit purpose” “architecture robustness” subsequent construction rarely interrogated at level. In evaluation, this paper discusses synthesis design, pedagogy attributes aid formulation parameters found methods, process shaped engagement outcomes thus satisfied stakeholders fit purpose.
